Camarasaurs at the Waterhole
North America, Morrison Formation.
In the heat of a late Jurassic evening a heard of camarasaurs visit a muddy waterhole. Much like Elephants today, these large dinosaurs may have travelled in herds or family groups, crossing many miles to find pools of free-standing water, perhaps
choosing the cooler evening hours to drink. A lone Apatosaurs passes by.
Acrylic on board.
